Chick Corea: The Ultimate Adventure Live in Barcelona DVD chronicles the spectacular live performance of the music from the critically acclaimed CD The Ultimate Adventure—including a special encore performance of the Corea classic Spain.  The 14-time Grammy winner is together with his band Touchstone, composed of virtuoso flamenco/jazz musicians from around the world and renown Egyptian percussionist, Hossam Ramzy (Peter Gabriel, Led Zeppelin).

An exotic blend of passionate flamenco melodies, North African and Middle Eastern grooves and adventurous improvisations, this performance also integrates Chick’s compositions with flamenco dancing featuring some of Spain’s finest dancers.      

Filmed in High Definition Digital Video at the historic Palau de la Musica in Barcelona, Spain, directed by the award-winning Spanish director Xavier Atance and recorded in 5.1 Surround Sound, this film shows Chick and band in a breathtaking venue set in the the country that has long been an inspiration to Chick and his music.
